I knew

I have a friend who got a satellite dish for his TV. He was billed $8.95 for the first two months. He called to inquire because he knew he was getting service worth over $80.00. The company representative adjusted his bill, and he now pays $80.95 per month.
My friend told his story recently at a restaurant and the other two people at our table thought he was crazy and told him so. “The company never would have known,” these friends suggested. His reply was, “I knew.”
And so did his children.

I am inspired to become like the person who replied “I knew”. This is how I want my children to think of me.
